Redesign of the website of the district association
For its new website, the district association of the AWO in Heinsberg needed a modern, attractive web design, simple navigation and a clear, intuitive structure in order to find the respective departments and the associated information required by the user quickly and easily. In addition, the integration of the AWO internal job vacancy database was requested.
The result is a bright, friendly web design based on WordPress. It meets the requirement of simple maintenance and is fundamentally designed and implemented from the user’s perspective.
The local social service provider
The Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) is a non-partisan and non-denominational association of free welfare care that operates nationwide. The aim of the AWO is to assist people in need and disadvantaged and to improve their living situation.
As a provider of diverse social services, the AWO in the Heinsberg district offers its almost 1,000 employees a job in numerous facilities, among others. in the areas of child and youth work, adult education, counseling and care work in many social areas as well as in the work for senior citizens.

The user is guided via the main navigation to all AWO-relevant topics such as offers, AWO news, appointments and / or job offers and thus receives all the necessary information on the first level.
In addition, the home page of each department shows relevant news and all upcoming appointments and, thanks to the clear navigation structure, guides you through the respective sub-items.
The color differentiation in the color coding system of the individual departments makes it clear at first glance in which department the user is on the website.
The website clearly structures the diverse social services of the AWO in the district of Heinsberg and now does justice to the image of a modern district association with almost 1000 employees.
